JAZMIN HOSGOOD

I have been brought up around horses all my life as my father, Paul Hosgood, has produced horses to a very high standard in all disciplines.

From training and riding winners around Cheltenham and Ascot to show horses winning at Horse of the Year Show, so there was no way I wasn’t going to get the bug. I have been very successful in the showing and racing industry, having ridden many county winners including a horse of the year show winner.

I have worked in racing for 14 years and had the pleasure of working for some top trainers and horsemen such as, Henrietta Knight, Oliver Sherwood, Michael Scudamore, Chris Down, Robert Oliver and Tom Malone.

KIERON EDGAR

I have also been around horses all my life, having worked in racing for ten years making it up through the ranks now as a professional jockey.

I’ve experienced many winners between the flags including five winners around Cheltenham and many more famous tracks. I have worked for some top trainers including the likes of David Pipe and Harry Fry. Both myself and Jazmin live and work for our horses, and as well as having lots of experience and being very capable around them, we believe that you have to do it for the love of them. I would expect the best for my horses therefore that rubs of on our work.

JANE & IAN PEARSE

My mum (Jane Pearse) and my step-dad (Ian Pearse) are a huge part of my life.

My mum loves her animals more than she loves me so I was always going to care so much for them, I lived at the South Devon Hunt Kennels for six years with Mum and Ian where I was part of the team getting the hunt horses ready as well as caring for the hounds. They were our life for 14 seasons after which Ian retired and has now got a very successful straw business named Pearse and Sons.

He has also been a successful jockey, trainer, showman and equine dentist. He has ridden point-to-point winners and under rules including around Cheltenham and also training a winner at Ascot. As well as being very successful in the show ring including numerous county winners and hoys.
